Ken Driedger
Ken has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years with experience in Property and Casualty Insurance Underwriting through various avenues such as Re-Insurers, Insurers and at Brokerages.
From 2002 – 2012 Ken worked at one of Canada’s largest Reinsurance companies as Assistant Vice President – Casualty. He was responsible for the production, marketing and underwriting of facultative casualty insurance business for Western Canada.
In 2013 he would go on to work for a large national Insurance Company as a Senior Property and Casualty Specialist. He would be tasked to reviewing and evaluating property and casualty applications to determine risk, extent of coverage and the final acceptance of the applications. Ken would also be responsible for providing technical direction on property and casualty underwriting for the branch.
Prior to joining Vailo Ken worked at a national Insurance Company as a Senior Specialty Lines Specialist where he would help expand the company’s Commercial Lines footprint by seeking out specialty programs and binding authority agreements.
At Vailo Ken is responsible for the overall oversight of the Casualty Department which includes new business writings, contract renewal reviews and internal referrals.
